Mommy-Daughter Date

Daddy needs to be at our store on Saturdays, so I am always trying to fill our Saturdays with something fun for the kids, since traditionally it is a "family day".  I don't always want to do the regular week day stuff, so today I thought it would be fun to ride the horses at Griffith Park, so we went on the horses and trains...the kids called it a "fun mommy-daughter date"!

Last Preschool Day Beach Trip

The last session of Miss Jamie's Preschool is "OCEANS" so what better way to end the session and the school year than with a trip to the ocean!  The kids and mom's look forward to this trip all year, it was a little hard to believe that it was here!  We had a great day despite the chilly breeze-kids didn't seem to mind the cold, they were all in the suits and in the water!

To me there is nothing better than long lazy mornings with kids happily playing in their pajamas!  I could literally stay this way all day, but of course soon I would be hearing "hey mommy where are we going today?"  

In the meantime, they love to play the piano and sing.  Lucy getting in on the fun!

Dodger Night!

Our good friend Clarissa coordinated a fun Dodger game night!  There were about 60 in our group.  We had fun even though it is a late night for our little ones-but hey, it's not every day!

Santa Barbara Weekend

This weekend daddy had a business seminar in Santa Barbara, so we thought it would be nice to get a hotel and bring my mom and dad with us so we could spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa while daddy was at his seminar, and of course so we had built in babysitters at night!  We intended to go to the zoo, but it was so hot we decided to make a zoo trip next time, and this time we went to a great children's festival that only happens once a year at this gorgeous shaded park...perfect timing!

The Golden Ticket

Mama got the Golden Ticket!  Through his work connections daddy was able to get 1 ticket to Weds. nights Idol taping.  He was so excited and immediately gave it to me!  He took care of the kids while mommy got a fun evening out alone.  Happy belated Mother's day, I guess!
